A.M. Napolitano Builders of Cheshire built our home on Farmers Court in Cheshire, Connecticut. We started the process when the location was still raw land and worked with Tony and Andy Napolitano through the completion of our home. During that time, it was evident that they were experts in home construction and had tremendous insight about the home construction building process.
We were impressed with the amount of time they took with us in planning the construction of our home. They were available from conception to completion to address our questions and/or concerns in a timely fashion. Building a home is a major commitment and investment. Tony and Andy made us feel comfortable during the entire process. We never felt rushed or pressured in working with them as our builders.
They also really listened to what we wanted in our new home. Tony and Andy made proposals, suggestions and came up with ideas based upon our wishes. This helped us evaluate what would be best for our lifestyle and home. The bottom line – they delivered everything they promised. Our home came out exactly as we envisioned it and we couldn’t be happier with the quality and finishes of the final project. We highly recommend A.M. Napolitano has knowledgeable home builders of integrity.

I would highly recommend both Tony and Andy for anyone that is considering building a new home in the Cheshire area. We have been in our home for over a year and have been delighted with the build quality and energy efficiency of the home and we have had virtually no service related issues. The few minor issues were handled quickly and resolved to our satisfaction.
The house that we built in Cheshire was our 14th home and the third home that we built from ground up. When we made the decision to move to Connecticut we had no plans to build a house, we even made a promise to each other that we “wouldn’t go through that again”. We struggled to find a home that would meet our needs and our realtor showed us a property owned by the Napolitano’s. We fell in love with the property and then we met with Tony and Andy. It took one meeting to convince us that having the Napolitano’s build our house was going to be the right move.
The whole process, from picking out the floor plan and the design, through working with Andy and his subcontractors to the final landscape plan is best described as “Drama Free”. The build quality of any home comes down to using high quality materials and having them installed by high quality craftsman. I was impressed with the teams that built our house and it was clear early on that they all had a desire to build a high quality home.
I would like to point out a few things that were unique to this build. I was surprised how many times Andy called me with what he thought would be an idea that would enhance the home. These ideas reflected his home building experience and it was clear that he would have made many of those changes to a home he was building for his own family. A couple of examples would include the basement room addition under the front porch which we turned into a safe room and changes in the design in the kitchen that created a much more comprehensive finish. I was also impressed with the time he spent on site and his “hands on” approach to building our home.
Our move to Cheshire started out with “we wouldn’t go through that again” to saying “Wow that went remarkable well”. I would highly recommend the Napolitano’s to any of my friends or co-workers who were thinking about building a new home.

Building a home is stressful, building a new home for the first time is extremely stressful. In 2006 I built my first home with A.M. Napolitano. Andy and Tony were excellent and exactly who a first time home builder would want on their side. Andy was thorough with each step we took and carefully outlined what was happening. Changes were of course made throughout the entire process and while many were last minute, they accommodated all.
Since this was the first house I had built I of course had more than just a few questions. From the property itself to the plans, Andy was clear with his answer. If it was a design question, Andy provided me enough information to try and answer my own question, as this would be my house. At times when there were concerns Tony and/or Andy were available to discuss and address the concerns and provide potential solutions. When these concerns were raised, they would meet me at the property and clearly go over everything. They always provided with several options so it was my choice on what to do, since this was to-be my home. A.M. Napolitano kept in touch and were always accessible.
As a first time builder they absolutely reduced the potential stress and even after the fact have always been available for questions. I appreciate their time and patience while ensuring the house was built as I had wanted.

AM Napolitano built our house back in 2005 and we could not be happier with how it turned out. Even after 12 years, we are still thrilled with the house, its craftsmanship and the attention to detail that went into the construction. Overall, it was a very good experience. From the initial meeting with Andy and Tony, through the construction and completion, we always felt comfortable throughout the whole process.
Several things stood out during the home building process. The communication between us was clear and Andy was very responsive. Andy was flexible and receptive to our ideas and make them work. With his guidance, we customized the initial building plans to meet our needs and preferences.
The high quality of construction was consistent throughout the building process and completed in only a few months; there were no unnecessary delays. We would highly recommend them to others. We had AM Napolitano do a complete renovation of our third floor attic space and they transformed it into a wonderful master bedroom suite including skylights, an office and full bathroom with custom shower. In the process they also discovered a historic brick chimney and restored the original 1918 floor boards. We were thrilled with the final results. Their attention to detail was incredible.
